Melissa Richardson and Gabriella Palmano set up Take 2 with Mairead McFadden in 1982 with a loan of 30K and a couple of rooms rented in the newly redeveloped Covent Garden. It did not take long for the boutique style agency to achieve recognition. A launch party at the Savoy, a few loyal girls and a booking with British Vogue in the first year were enough for the agency to be taken seriously.
