Alan Scrymgeour studied photography first at Great Yarmouth Art School and then Newcastle Art College. He subsequently worked on a pig farm in Norfolk before moving to London and a job as assistant at Chalk Farm studios. At the same time he also assisted photographers including Julie Sleaford and Rick Guest. He has since worked for Vogue Homme International, V Magazine, Arena, 10 Magazine and Dutch. Clients include Prada, Burberry, EZ by Zegna and Jaeger.
