Born in Chicago in February of 1988, Bese Guzeldere is a Turkish-American fashion designer. Growing up, she was always interested in fashion, her mother was a fashion teacher in Turkey. As a child, she always made clothing for her Barbies and sketched on any paper she could come across. She attended Niles West High School, where she took fashion design classes all eight semesters. After graduating high school in June of 2006, she enrolled at The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago. She graduated ILIA in September 2009 with a B.F.A. in Fashion Design. In October 2009, she was featured in the Dress Code Show during Chicago Fashion Focus. She was 1 of 6 students from her school chosen to create a look for Whole Foods for their Feed 100 campaign. The look she created was displayed at Macys on State Street in Chicago in the fall of 2009. This look was also featured during the One of a Kind Show in Chicago in December of 2009. Currently, Bese is working on freelance projects under her label Zeyno.
