Joseph Mimran, the man synonymous with Canadian fashion. He is after all, the dynamic force behind three of Canada's greatest Canadian retail success stories - Alfred Sung, Club Monaco, Caban and now, a new addition with Joe Fresh. His wife Kimberly Newport Mimran, has her hand in the fashion industry as well, with her design label Pink Tartan.

In 1979, Joe Mimran and his brother Saul "discovered" Alfred Sung, turning the shy designer into an international brand. Later Mimran created one of Canada's most successful empires, Club Monaco, which at one point boasted 110 store locations in North America and Asia. Caban, a home decor concept, was another one of his masterminds that had great success. It was later sold to Polo Ralph Lauren. Currently, Mimran supports operation of his wife's label Pink Tartan, and continues to operate his own newest creation Joe Fresh for the Loblaws' President's Choice brand.
